he Biodiversity Quiz Games project is a collection of 8 interactive educational games developed for the Maharashtra Biodiversity Board under the Maharashtra Gene Bank Project.
The goal of these games is to promote public awareness, learning, and engagement around Maharashtra’s rich biodiversity through simple, fun, and visually appealing online games.
These games were designed to help students, citizens, and nature enthusiasts understand topics like ecosystems, species diversity, food chains, habitats, conservation, and environmental balance.
Objective
To create easy-to-understand and interactive online games that help users learn about Maharashtra’s biodiversity in an engaging and enjoyable way.

Our Approach – How Codeswizards Delivered the Software
At Codeswizards, we followed a structured development process:

- Bird Identification Quiz-Test your knowledge of Maharashtra’s bird species
- Season Recognition Quiz-Identify seasons based on real-life visuals
- Food Chain Builder-Arrange organisms to complete the food chain
- IUCN Conservation Status Quiz-Guess the protection status of each species
- Ecosystem Matcher-Match each organism to its correct ecosystem
- Extinct Species Quiz-Identify animals that no longer exist
- Creature Traits Challenge-Guess the animal using hints and characteristics
- Odd One Out Challenge-Pick the option that doesn’t belong

3. Your Role
- Designed the UI/UX for all 12 games
- Developed game logic using JavaScript / React
- Integrated illustrations, icons, and multimedia elements
- Created responsive layouts for all screen sizes
- Optimized gameplay for smooth performance
- Coordinated with the Maharashtra Biodiversity Board for content approval

Final Outcome
Designed and developed a suite of 8 online biodiversity quiz games as part of the Maharashtra Gene Bank Awareness Initiative. The games use interactive visuals, questions, matching puzzles, and animations to teach users about Maharashtra’s ecosystems, endangered species, and the importance of environmental conservation.
Our role included UI/UX design, frontend development, game logic, and fully responsive implementation. The project contributed significantly to public awareness and was used in several educational outreach programs.
